Jones is listed in stable condition. The driver of the truck, Shawn Hardin, age 19 of Jackson, was arrested and lodged in the Three Forks Regional Jail. He has been charged with three counts of Murder, 2 counts of Assault 1st Degree, and one count of Operating a Motor Vehicle under the Influence 1st offence.
Autopsies will be performed on the deceased victims by the State Medical Examiners Office in Frankfort. Alcohol appears to be a contributing factor in this collision, and seat belts were not in use. This incident remains under investigation by Trooper Tony Russell with KSP Post 13.
