ELYRIA, Ohio – A Conn. man was arrested after Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers said that they found 90 pounds—$450,000 worth—of marijuana in his car.

Terry L. Ward, 51, was driving on Interstate 80 near milepost 135 at around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday when he committed a moving violation, troopers said. Troopers observed “criminal indicators” during the stop, OSHP reports, and a drug-sniffing police dog indicated that there were drugs in the car.

Ward was charged with trafficking in marijuana and possession of marijuana. He faces up to 16 years in prison and a $30,000 fine, OSHP said.
