(Ned, KY) – An Indiana man, who was critically injured in a collision on January 2nd in Breathitt County, has died. Kentucky State Police Post 13 in Hazard initially responded to a two vehicle collision on KY Highway 15 in the Ned community at approximately 4:28 p.m., on Friday January 2, 2015. Calls to Post 13 advised that a motorcycle had collided with a pickup truck.
Upon arrival at the scene, investigators determined that Jascha Jason Adamski, age 40 of Austin, Indiana, was traveling northbound on KY 15, when the 2009 Kawasaki motorcycle he was driving, collided with a 1993 Toyota truck, driven by 51 year old Darrell White of Delphia, KY. The vehicles collided in the southbound lane of the roadway. Jascha Adamski was transported by ambulance to Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson, and then was later transferred to the University Of Kentucky Medical Center, for treatment of injuries received in this collision. Mr. Adamski was wearing a helmet at the time of this incident.
On January 8, 2015, KSP Post 13 was notified by Fayette County Coroner John Cox that Jascha Jason Adamski had succumbed to the injuries sustained in the collision. This incident remains under investigation by Trooper Isaac Whitaker with KSP Post 13.
