Additionally, the Illini staff brought in the No. 1 recruiting class in the nation, featuring Fab 50 freshmen Jordyn Poulter, Ali Bastianelli and Beth Prince, along with Oregon transfer Naya Crittenden.
The 2015 regular season begins on Friday, Aug. 28, when the Illini host Louisville as part of the Illini Classic. Louisville, Miami (Ohio) and Creighton will all be in town for opening weekend, with the year kicking off with the 10th annual Stuff Huff promotion on opening night.
