LEXINGTON, Ky. –  The No. 22 Kentucky (14-8, 7-3 SEC) men’s tennis team earned a ranked Senior Day win over No. 23 Vanderbilt (16-6, 6-4 SEC) on Sunday afternoon inside the Boone Tennis Center. Sophomore Asia Seidt won the 100-yard backstroke with a school-record time of 50.86

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – With 25 yards to go in the 100-yard backstroke final, Kentucky sophomore Asia Seidt turned on the jets, going the fastest final split of the heat to edge out Missouri’s Hannah Stevens by five-hundredths of a second and win the Southeastern Conference championship in the event on Saturday night. Seniors get to 100 career wins, Brown notches 1,000th career kill
LEXINGTON, Ky. – Powered by a masterful 14-4 run in the decisive fifth set the sixth-ranked Kentucky volleyball team marched on to the Elite Eight behind a 3-2 (20-25, 25-17, 22-25, 25-18, 15-9) win over No. 7 BYU in front of 3,219 fans in Memorial Coliseum on Friday. Kentucky trailed 2-1 in the match and then 5-1 in the deciding fifth frame before mounting comebacks to earn the win and a bit of history. (LEXINGTON, Ky.) — The matches I just witnessed during the first and second rounds of the 2017 NCAA Volleyball Tournament weren’t anything like the games our moms used to play. They weren’t the backyard variety we batted around at summer picnics nor were they the recreational version we played in church or intramural leagues. They were nothing like the two-man game invented on California beaches, and they certainly didn’t resemble the testosterone laden variation I participated in while serving in Uncle Sam’s Army. Kentucky Volleyball Announces 2018 Recruiting Class

Four Freshman and one JUCO Transfer will join UK

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky volleyball head coach Craig Skinner announced the completion of the 2018 recruiting class on Tuesday. Middle blocker Gabby Goddard (Lexington, Massachusetts), setter Cameron Schietzach (Orlando, Florida), outside hitter Alli Stumler (Floyds Knobs, Indiana) and libero Lauren Tharp (Louisville, Kentucky) will all join the Wildcats as freshmen next year.
