LEXINGTON, Ky. – Maci Morris scored 16 points, but the Kentucky women’s basketball lost to No. 3 Louisville 87-63 on Sunday at Memorial Coliseum.
Kentucky (8-4) got 10 points from freshman Tatyana Wyatt, while Jaida Roper added nine. Taylor Murray finished with eight points, seven rebounds and seven assists for the Wildcats. Both 2017-18 signees named to list of 50 players for national HS Player of the Year
LEXINGTON, Ky. – University of Kentucky women’s basketball signees Rhyne Howard (Cleveland, Tenn.) and Blair Green (Harlan, Ky.) have been named to the 2017 Naismith Girls’ High School Watch List, which annually names the top player in high school basketball. The excitement of Kentucky Basketball debuted tonight Friday, The Thirteenth 2017 @ the Historic Rupp Arena. Since Kentucky lost in the Elite 8 of the NCAA Basketball tournament in March of this year, this date has been anticipated for a long time. Big Blue Madness is the official start to the College Basketball season as this is the first time all year the public gets to see UK on the court. Other schools such as Duke, Kansas, North Carolina all hold similar events, but the hype and anticipation of Big Blue Madness is unique making Kentucky the gold Standard of College Basketball.
