(JACKSON, Ky.) – In the annals of UK Sports history, Adolph Rupp sits indisputably at the kingdom throne of the Big Blue Nation. The Baron of the Bluegrass, with his recognizable balding pate and heralded nasal twang, was instrumental in the coronation of the Kentucky program as the greatest tradition in the history of college basketball. Life-long Wildcat fans, together with future die-hard generations to come, owe much of their current and ensuing glory to the basketball genius of the man in the brown suit.

LEGENDS – Legends Split Double Header with RiverDogs in Series Finale

WHITAKER BANK BALLPARK (Lexington, KY) – The Lexington Legends and Charleston RiverDogs split the double header in the series finale. The Legends won game one, 7-4, but fell in game two, 2-1. UK Tennis – No. 22 Kentucky Defeats No. 23 Vanderbilt On Senior Day

LEXINGTON, Ky. –  The No. 22 Kentucky (14-8, 7-3 SEC) men’s tennis team earned a ranked Senior Day win over No. 23 Vanderbilt (16-6, 6-4 SEC) on Sunday afternoon inside the Boone Tennis Center. LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Three experienced assistant men’s basketball coaches have joined head coach Chris Mack’s staff at the University of Louisville, including Dino Gaudio, Luke Murray and Mike Pegues.

Pegues (pronounced puh-GEESE) has worked as an assistant coach with Mack for the past six seasons at Xavier, Murray has been an assistant coach with Mack for the past three seasons at Xavier, and Gaudio is a former basketball television analyst who has 23 years of collegiate coaching experience, including a stint at Wake Forest with Mack.
