UK Football – Wildcats Mauled in Mississippi

It wasn’t pretty at the beginning of the game and it wasn’t pretty at the end of the game. In a very disappointing 45-7 loss, Kentucky simply did not appear to be in this game from the opening kick off. Ok, it is a Blue-White Game, so what can you expect.  One time Junior Braddy scored around 40 points in one of these scrimmages, yet he never saw much playing time in the regular season games during his four year career at UK in the early 90’s.  Because of that, I wouldn’t put much stock in what we saw here on Friday. For the third time in as many tournaments, the Kentucky men’s golf team claimed the tournament crown. Senior Cooper Musselman led the way with his first collegiate victory as the Wildcats hung on by one stroke to edge out North Florida for the Crooked Stick Invitational title. Both Wildcats garnered conference honors after defeating EMU on Saturday
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Following Kentucky swimming and diving’s wins over Eastern Michigan on Saturday, senior Isaac Jones and freshman Bailey Bonnett won Southeastern Conference weekly awards, the league office announced Tuesday. UK Leads the Nation with 27 Players on NBA Opening-Day Rosters

More than 5.5 percent of current NBA players finished their college basketball careers at UK

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky’s unprecedented success with helping players reach the NBA has surpassed a new level of extreme.

As the 2017-18 NBA season begins Tuesday, a whopping 27 players on NBA opening-day rosters played and finished their college basketball careers at the University of Kentucky, the nation’s most prolific NBA player-producing program in the country. GAINESVILLE, Fla. – History! For just the third time in Southeastern Conference history two top-10 ranked teams squared off. The No. 8 Kentucky volleyball team exited Gainesville, Florida, with more than just a 3-1 (25-20, 25-22, 23-25, 25-16) win over No. 1 Florida as a number of program records fell in the process. Not much changed this week with the top teams in the BSN coverage area. As teams tune up for their runs at a State Tournament, some have put themselves in tougher positions than others. As expected, the teams that advanced deep in the playoffs last season are once again at the top of their game and ready for the battle that is playoff football. UK Basketball – Big Blue Madness 2017: The premiere practice for all of College Basketball.

The excitement of Kentucky Basketball debuted tonight Friday, The Thirteenth 2017 @ the Historic Rupp Arena.  Since Kentucky lost in the Elite 8 of the NCAA Basketball tournament in March of this year, this date has been anticipated for a long time.  Big Blue Madness is the official start to the College Basketball season as this is the first time all year the public gets to see UK on the court.  Other schools such as Duke, Kansas, North Carolina all hold similar events, but the hype and anticipation of Big Blue Madness is unique making Kentucky the gold Standard of College Basketball.   Continue reading UK Basketball – Big Blue Madness 2017: The premiere practice for all of College Basketball.
